Feet issues make it more important for you to take care of your feet. Here are five easy foot massage techniques to help with feet discomfort from bunions, flat feet and wide feet.
Toe Stretch – Stretch your toes by pulling them away from each other and pushing them back together. This helps relax the toe joints.
Heel Massage – Use your thumb to apply pressure to your heal, massage in a circular motion.
Arch Roll – Use a tennis ball and roll it under the arch of your foot. This will help to stretch and alleviate pain in the arch of your foot. If you don’t have a ball use your thumbs to massage your arch.
Toe Press – Press your thumb to the base of your toes and apply pressure. This helps to relax your toes and relieve tension.
Ankle Rotation – Rotate the ankle in a circular motion. This improves circulation and flexibility. You can do this anywhere…waiting in line at the store, at work, as a passenger in a car.
Make sure you are gentle when performing foot massages. Stop immediately if there is any pain and consult a medical professional.
