The Vionic Winny is a classic tennis shoe with leather upper, laces and a rubber sole. The shoe has a 1” heel height/0.75” platform heel. The Vionic Winny shoe is expensive, but it has good arch support, and a deep heel cup for stability and cushioning in the sole. The insole of this shoe is stiff, but Vionic recommends wearing this shoe for a short period of time for a week or two to break them in. I found the shoe more comfortable after the break in period. The wide version of this shoe may not be wide enough for some feet and I would’ve liked the shoe to be a little wider for my bunions. The insole comes out of this shoe and can be worn with orthotics but with the price, you can get a cheaper shoe and use your own custom orthotics. This shoe is true to size, and I wear a size 7.5 wide. If you regularly wear the Vionic Winny without socks, size down a half size.
