I love the look and feel of these boots! They are a good option for winter when you want to be casual and comfortable but elevate your casual outfit. The Birkenstock Upsalla Shearling Boot is not my normal look, but after trying them on I was surprised how cute and comfortable they are and how much I like them! The mid-high boot has a deep heel cup for comfort and a contoured cork foot bed that provides arch support. The boots are comfortable with, and without, my orthotics and the width fits my feet that need wide shoes because of bunions. The boots are water resistant and lined with shearling, so they are extra cozy. They close with a buckle making the ankle size adjustable.

The Upsalla boots are not marked wide but they are made to be equivalent to a women’s wide width. Birkenstock shoes are made in European (EU) shoe sizes, so to find your size add 31 to your US Women’s shoe size. These boots do not come in half sizes so if you wear a half size, size down to the nearest full size. I normally wear 7.5W and the EU size 38 fits me.
