The more I wear the Clarks Cologne Up Leather Boots the more I like them. These are knee-high leather boots with a leather lined footbed and grippy rubber outsoles. I didn’t love the feel of the boots when I tried them on in the store but ordered them online anyway because I liked the look (they didn’t have my wide width size in the store). When I tried them on in the store the insole felt stiff and not supportive. When I received the wide version of the boot, it was more comfortable, and the insole was supportive and not stiff. The insole is removable, so I have been testing them out wearing the boots with the Clark’s insole sometimes and my custom insole other times. I expected to wear these only with my custom insoles but have found these boots comfortable and supportive with either insole. These are adorable boots, and I have been getting a lot of compliments when I wear them.

The width of the calf part of the boot is adjustable with gold buckles so it works for a wide range of calf sizes. These boots also fit my ankles nicely and were not too snug, some have issues with the boot ankle width being too narrow to zip the boot. Just like the fit, I like the look of this boot the more I wear them.
I purchased this boot in size 8 wide, half size up, because I will be wearing them occasionally with my custom orthotics. If not using custom orthotics these boots are true to size, and I would purchase a size 7.5 Wide.

The original price of this boot is $180 (but they go on sale, and you can get them for $100 - $140).
