The TIJN Open Toe Heeled Mules are cuter in person than I expected. They have a square toe box which works well for wide feet and bunions and a triangle heel. The shoes have about a 2 inch heel and can be worn casual or dressy.
The knit fabric upper is breathable and stretchy for those with wide feet and bunions. I sized up and bought these shoes in 8 Wide but could’ve been fine with a 7 Wide. The shoes were wide enough and did not rub my bunions.
I liked the look of these shoes on my feet a lot more than when they were first out of the box. When I first saw the shoe, the black fabric material of the upper was misshapen. When I put the shoe on, the material flattened out and the shoe looked great. These shoes are comfortable, even with the almost 2-inch heel, but the base of the shoe is hard, inflexible and rubber. I didn’t have comfort issues with the shoe, but it could be uncomfortable for some if walking a lot. Lastly, when walking on wood floors the bottom of the shoe was slippery, I had no issues on carpet.
